Power Point

The easiest way to present data yet perhaps the most effective way is using power point.  Here I am sharing several power point that I created to present my projects. Please leave review if you find it useful.

1. Geographical data

When presenting geographical data, we can actually just pull out data online and show it in table. However, our geographic knowledge is limited. When geographic location matters for the audience, I think showing the actual map could be the best way to do it. You can pull out blank map online, google map, or Tableau which is easier to edit. You may also want to make sure it is not too busy.  You can see the complete presentation here

2. Process/ Timeline

You can use SmartArt Graphic tools to show process of project timeline. However I personally think it is somewhat boring. Below is just an idea how can you show market entry strategy and the step by step process. I think if you can show step by step rather than throw it all in the power point, it will help to get attention from your audience. I made this power point for my team marketing pitch. The contributor names are on document.

If you read the topic of our marketing plan, you may think that me and my team were crazy to use RFID to replace bar code and cashiers in retailer industry.  No, we were not. Amazon opened its first cashier-less store on the day we pitch our idea.  We're still sure this is a real supply chain and sales solution in retail industry.
